Install Modem Charter
I get my TV via Direct TV and it is great, but I get my internet via Charter. Between the two I pay over $200.00 a month. So I decided to bite the bullet, drop Direct TV and consolidate my internet and TV under Charter.

My son overhears him talking to his supervisor saying that he doesnt want to do this job because he gets paid by the job, not the hour. Why he felt the need to pull down all of my existing cabling so he could see the wires, I have no idea.

The existing cabling is in great shape and all you need to know is where each cable begins and ends. One end connects to the splitter and the other connects to the cable box/DVR. They've been taught how to do one thing and if it goes beyond the scope of their training they become completely lost and incapable of doing simple jobs. The last time I had a problem a lightning storm damaged some equipment on the line up the street from me. It took four months to get it fixed and I had to get my state representative involved; this was after I had done the troubleshooting and told them where the problem is.
