I see none of the issues mentioned. The cable is sturdy, the USB connector is solid and firmly fixed to the plastic hood which holds the electronics, and that is also sturdy. Once I get it home I'll be able to comment on the performance. From what I see so far, I expect it to perform very well. 2015-05-24 - I have to add that I did need to use a USB male to USB female extension cable between the USB Hub that i have and the RTS-01.

The plastic housing is very thin and has gaps where it is supposed to be closed, and the metal USB plug isn't tight inside it.

I wrapped elec. Tape around this area to better secure it. As far functionality, I give it a%100 for performance, My old prolific cable would cause my computer to randomly restart without warning when connected. I didn't even have Han Radio Deluxe running for this to occur. With the RTSystems cable, I can leave HRD running all day with NO problems and great connectivity.
